What this guide covers

This page explains how to log into Robinhood on both the website and the mobile app, troubleshooting tips for common login problems (password, 2-step verification, device issues), account recovery steps, and simple security practices to protect your money and data.

How to log in — Web & Mobile

On the web (desktop or laptop)

  1. Open your browser and go to https://robinhood.com.
  2. Click Sign In (top-right), enter the email address associated with your account and your password, then click Continue.
  3. If you use two-factor authentication, follow the prompt to enter the code from your authenticator app or SMS message.

On mobile (iOS & Android)

  1. Open the Robinhood app.
  2. On the welcome screen tap Log in. Enter your email and password.
  3. Complete any two-step verification prompts, Face ID / Touch ID, or passcode unlocks if configured.
Pro tip: Use Face ID / Touch ID on mobile for faster — and secure — login after the initial sign in.

Troubleshooting common login problems

Account recovery & 2FA reset

If you can’t access your email or authenticator, start with the account recovery process on Robinhood’s help center. Expect identity verification (photo ID, selfie, or SSN confirmation) to prove ownership before support resets 2FA or restores access.

Important: Robinhood support will never ask for your full password or two-factor codes. Only respond through official support channels found at robinhood.com or inside the app.
